lll edition of the Science by Women contest

The Science by Women program announces the call for its third contest. This initiative aims to give continuity to the proposal “From Labs to Society” that allows women scientists of the program to develop their research in their countries of origin.

In this third edition, a prize has been announced in the category of scientific dissemination with an endowment of €5,000 because we believe that scientific dissemination plays a fundamental role in the advancement of knowledge and the sustainable development of societies.

The competition is open to women scientists from the program who have completed or are currently completing their research stays in any of the nine editions.

The selected initiative must be carried out in the African country of origin of the winning candidate, thus strengthening the impact and relevance of scientific research in the region.

This competition, financially supported by the Eurofins Foundation, seeks to foster the dissemination of scientific knowledge and promote STEM careers in Africa

Applications will be accepted until May 12, 2024.
