Reinforcing our commitment to academic excellence alongside Planeta Formación y Universidades Morocco

Rabat, April 17, 2026 — On the occasion of the signing of a new addendum to our partnership agreement, we are announcing, together with Planeta Formación y Universidades Morocco, an ambitious expansion of our scholarship program for the 2026–2027 academic year.

A strong partnership and growing impact

The signing ceremony brought together Mr. Raúl Muro Martínez, General Director of Planeta Formación y Universidades Morocco, and Mr. Juan Ramón Algar Calderón, General Director of the Mujeres for Africa Foundation, accompanied by Ms. Beatriz Santacruz García, Project Coordinator at the Foundation. A highlight of the event was the presence of six current beneficiaries of the program, whose attendance illustrated the tangible success of this initiative.

Since the launch of their collaboration in 2019, the program has established itself as a cornerstone of diversity within the institution. Key figures demonstrate this success:

  • Strong representation: Mujeres beneficiaries represent an average of 14% of the total student body, with remarkable stability between 13% and 15% over the past three years.
  • Pan-African reach: The program has become a true multicultural hub, welcoming talent from Morocco, Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal, and Cameroon.

Awarding of 20 full scholarships

Under the terms of this new partnership, Planeta Formación y Universidades Morocco commits to offering 20 scholarships covering full tuition costs (enrollment fees and academic charges) for excellence programs within its institutions based in Rabat:

  • Business Division (ESLSCA Business School Rabat): 10 scholarships dedicated to Master’s programs in cutting-edge fields:
    • Project Management
    • Financial Engineering & Innovation
    • Marketing & Artificial Intelligence
  • Health Division (EDUMED): 10 scholarships allocated to undergraduate programs in health sciences:
    • Physiotherapy
    • Speech Therapy
    • Psychomotor Therapy

Commitments and selection process

The agreement stipulates that the Mujeres for Africa Foundation will be responsible for the pre-selection of candidates based on criteria of academic excellence and professional potential. For its part, the institution guarantees high-level academic support to ensure the success of beneficiaries throughout their studies.

Towards an expansion of the partnership

The official document also provides for the creation of joint working groups to explore new areas of collaboration, including:

  • The sharing of best practices within the Foundation’s international network.
  • The assessment of logistical solutions for student accommodation.
  • The future integration of Executive Education programs for working professionals.

The signing of this addendum by both General Directors marks a key milestone in strengthening the sustainability of this initiative for inclusion and excellence.
