ll Science by Women contest

Madrid, October 5, 2023. Science by Women announces its second contest with the aim of giving continuity to its proposal “from labs to society” in which women scientists of the program can develop their research in their countries of origin.

For this edition, a prize has been announced in the category of scientific dissemination with an endowment of €6,000. The competition is open to women scientists from the program who have already completed or are currently completing their research stays from any of the eight previous calls. The initiatives presented must be developed in the African country of origin of the winning candidates.

Outreach has proven to be a key element for scientific advancement and sustainable development of societies, as well as for the promotion of STEM careers among youth.

The competition is funded by the Eurofins Foundation.

Applications will be accepted until October 26.
