Learn Africa announces 53 scholarships for the next academic year, mostly online


Madrid, 1st July. Since the 1st  of July the call for Learn Africa scholarships for the 2020-2021 academic year is open. This program is addressed to African female university students who want to do postgraduate training at Spanish universities.

This year, given the conditions created by the Covid-19 pandemic, which make travel difficult or impossible, the courses offered are online.

It is a total of 53 scholarships for official and specific master’s degrees offered by 16 universities, that cover studies from very different disciplines, from business management and marketing, political science or economics and development, to mathematics, computing, food and agriculture science, or even offshore boat repair technology.

Along with these scholarships, have also been announce others offered by Planeta Formación and universities in its centers ESLSCA, Business and Administration school, and Ostelea, Tourism and Hotel Industry school, in Rabat, Morocco.

In this case there are 4 scholarships that cover the 100% of the educational expenses and another 5 with a reduction of the 50% of the master’s degrees costs. All these studies are taught in French and they are face-to-face.

Since 2013 to nowadays, 153 African female students from 34 countries have been beneficiaries of the Learn Africa program and have been studied different subjects and levels in 40 Spanish universities and 2 educative centers in Morocco.

Women for Africa want to publicly thanks to the Learn Africa partners, universities and educative centers, the support offered to this program, especially in these difficult times of coronavirus
