The Institute of Environmental Science and Technology at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona is a research center of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona that hosts approximately 120 researchers trained in environmental sciences spanning natural, socio-economic and engineering fields. ICTA-UAB’s mission is to undertake cutting-edge research and training on interactions between humans and Earth systems, to build integrative and applied knowledge for a sustainable future. Our research is structured around 5 societal challenges, focused on oceanic and land-use systems, cities, production and consumption patterns, and transformative policies. We do brave science for a changing world through cutting-edge interdisciplinary research, a commitment to society and equity, and by demanding policy action from decision-makers.

*ICTA-UAB can provide support in finding accommodation, for the selected candidate only, within the university’s residential building. Those that deny this option must secure their own option for accommodation and inform both parties, at least, 1 month before arrival in Spain.
