CASTILLA-LA MANCHA HEALTH RESEARCH INSTITUTE (IDISCAM)

Health Research Institute of Castilla-La Mancha – IDISCAM is a multidisciplinary biomedical research institute dedicated to promoting, developing, managing and disseminating research, scientific and technological knowledge, innovation, and training in the fields of Biomedicine and Health Sciences. Its activities contribute to disease prevention, health promotion and protection, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation, as well as to advancing knowledge on population health and improving quality of life. IDISCAM also aims to strengthen translational and collaborative research across the healthcare system of Castilla-La Mancha, fostering scientific excellence, innovation, and the effective transfer of knowledge into clinical practice and public health.

IDISCAM Research Portal (https://idiscam.portalinvestigacion.com/). The purpose of this portal is to provide both the research community and society with transparent and up-to-date information on the Institute’s scientific activity. Through the platform, users can access information on research projects and clinical studies, scientific publications, supervised doctoral theses, and the industrial and intellectual property results generated by IDISCAM in recent years.

Research proposals presented to IDISCAM must be related to the following research areas:

  • Neurosciences
  • Chronic Diseases and Cancer
  • Healthcare Technology, Precision Medicine, and Aging
  • Infectious, Inflammatory, and Immunomedical Diseases
  • Cross-cutting Area: Primary Care, Public Health, and

Proposals must be tailored to the research areas and groups of ICMAB. General proposals or duplicated proposals will not be considered.
