Basque Center for Macromolecular Design and Engineering, POLYMAT Fundazioa is a research center of international excellence located in Donostia-San Sebastian linked to the University of the Basque Country UPV/EHU.
Research focuses on the fundamental investigation in Key Technologies (polymer synthesis, polymer physics, assembly and processing, and theory and simulations) which are applied to 21st Century Challenges (energy, health care, and sustainability).
Research proposals must be related to the following research lines of multidisciplinary research:
- Polymers and Energy
- Polymers and Sustainability
- Polymer Physics and Advanced Manufacturing
- Molecular and Supramolecular Materials
- Polymers for Health
- Polymerization Engineering and Simulation
