UNICAN. PhD scholarship in Chemical Engineering, Energy and Processes

Teaching Modality: Face-to-face.

Duration: Up to 4 years. The scholarship will be renewed annually conditioned to a positive progress assessment by the Academic Committee of the doctoral program. Extension to the 4^th year requires a specific request by the Thesis supervisor.

Start Date: October 1^st, 2024.
Teaching Language: Spanish orEnglish.

• Design of biomedical devices

Academic Requirements: Accreditation of a degree obtained in accordance with foreign educational systems, without the need for its homologation, after verification by the university that it accredits a level of training equivalent to that of the official Spanish Master’s degree and that it qualifies in the country issuing the degree for access to doctoral studies. This admission will not imply, in any case, the homologation of the previous degree held by the interested party nor its recognition for purposes other than access to doctoral studies.

It is recommended that the interested student has completed a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering as previous background. The Doctoral Program also accepts candidates from other Master’s programs in the field of Sciences and Engineering, different from Chemical Engineering. However, in that case, she will be required to complement her training with 6 ECTS credits if coming from a Master’s program in other engineering fields, or 12 ECTS credits if it is from a Master’s program in the field of Sciences.

Language Requirements: B2 level of Spanish or English according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
